You don’t have to choose between timeless and fun.

You can have the elegant dress. The killer florals. The emotional vows.
And still throw a party that ends with sore feet, smeared lipstick, and someone yelling the words to Mr. Brightside (or whatever).

That’s my kind of wedding.

For the couples who care deeply about the experience and know how to let loose once the formalities are over. The ones who want beautiful photos, but don’t want a wedding day that feels stiff, performative, or curated within an inch of its life.

Give me the color. The personality. The weird little details. The chaos.
That’s where the magic lives.

I didn’t expect to fall this hard for micro weddings… but here we are.

The last couple years, more couples have been choosing smaller, more intentional celebrations…and honestly? It shows. In the energy, in the pacing, in the way the whole day feels.

Less pressure. More presence.
Less production. More connection.

When you’re surrounded by only your people, everything shifts. You actually get time together. You actually get to experience your wedding instead of racing through it. And from my side? The photos hit different - more depth, more honesty, more room to create without rushing you from one thing to the next.

It’s not about doing less. It’s about doing what matters on purpose.

Curious if a micro wedding might be your move? I broke it all down on the blog - go give it a read.

One thing that quietly makes or breaks your photos? Time.

Not more poses. Not more pressure. Just space.

A few minutes carved out before everything begins. While you’re still fresh, still grounded, still soaking in what the day actually means. Before timelines tighten and everything starts moving fast.

This isn’t about “one last single photo.”
It’s about giving yourself a moment to breathe… and letting me turn that into something intentional.

If you want photos that feel calm, elevated, and not rushed into oblivion - we plan for it, make space for it, and carve out the time.

There are many layers to a wedding day.

The obvious ones: the dress, the venue, the light hitting just right.
And then the quieter ones: the anticipation, the separation, the moments happening just out of sight of each other.

Two people in the same place, living two completely different versions of the same moment… until everything collides in the best way.

This is where I play.
Light against shadow. Warm against cool. Presence against silhouette.

Because the story isn’t flat - and your photos shouldn’t be either.

If you’re trying to play it safe…I’m probably not your photographer. But if you’re ready to lean into something a little more bold, more YOU, let’s chat!

Not all receptions are created equal.

Some are fine.

And some… feel like you just stepped into a European garden dinner party that somehow landed in Texas.

The layered greens.
The old-world gold.
The way the glassware catches light like it knows it’s being watched.
The linen overhead softening everything into a glow instead of a glare.

This wasn’t thrown together. It was designed. With intention. With restraint. With taste.

And here’s the part most people don’t talk about - when couples put this much thought into their space, the entire night changes. Guests linger. They slow down. They soak it in. It elevates everything.

Photographing details like this is less about snapping a quick flat lay and more about composition, depth, light control, and knowing when to let a moment breathe.

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels editorial but still wildly personal…
Elegant, but not stiff…
Curated, but still a damn good party…

I’m your girl.

Light is almost never accidental.

Kira + Peter chose a quiet corner of St. Mary’s to read their personal vows - no audience, no distractions, just the two of them and the weight of what they were promising. The architecture was already stunning. The moment was already sacred.

But here’s the thing: beautiful spaces don’t photograph themselves.

Light has to be understood. Directed. Balanced. Protected. In a place like this, it’s about honoring the ambience while shaping it just enough so the emotion doesn’t get swallowed by the shadows.

That’s the art.
Knowing when to let the light fall naturally… and when to guide it.

Because moments this intimate deserve more than a snapshot. They deserve intention.
