Let’s Meet Your Photographer! 📸
Hey y’all! I’m Darby Davidson, the heart behind Darby Lu Photography — born and raised in San Antonio, now calling New Braunfels, Texas home with my sweet little family. I’m 26, a stay-at-home mom, and a passionate photographer building this dream from the ground up. Photography started young for me, running around with my dad’s old camera snapping everything from trees to sunsets — and it stuck! Years later, my aunt gifted me that very same Nikon D90, and just like that, Darby Lu Photography was born.
The name? A nickname my brother gave me growing up — “Darby Lu” just rolled off the tongue with a little country flair, and now it’s become something truly special.
I don’t shoot for the money — I do it for the joy, the reactions, and the forever moments I get to freeze in time. Every session is personal, every photo holds heart. While I may not have the flashiest gear (yet!), I bring soul, creativity, and affordable pricing to every shoot — because I know how important memories are, especially when times are tough.
