It’s funny how kids fundamentally change us.
Not just our priorities or how we spend our time, but the things that quietly become part of who we are.
Growing up in a small town in East Texas, I always wanted to be involved in 4H or Ag. It was a big part of the ranching community where I lived. But by the time I reached high school, life had shifted and I lived in the suburbs, and it was never a reality for me.
Then my oldest fell in love with horses at six years old… and just like that, everything came full circle.
4H became part of our world, and now every single one of my kids, even the baby, is completely obsessed. And honestly? It’s been one of the biggest blessings.
These 4H kids are something special. Responsible. Polite. Hardworking. Confident. Kind. The kind of kids you just *know* are going to do something meaningful.
So give me a session with a 4H kid and their project any day
