I recently saw a comment that said “photographers who don’t have a niche just look desparate” and I guess you’re right.

I’m desperate to do what makes me happy, to be a part of different special moments, to create art that shifts based on what’s being celebrated.

But am I desperate to book a session?
-Not necessarily.

I don’t book everything that comes through my inbox because I know my own strengths and I also have boundaries, which I think are important to have. Niching down is great and if that’s what works for YOU that’s amazing!

Personally, I love the juxtaposition of photographing a wedding and then shifting my creative focus the next day when I have a maternity session. It challenges me in the best way, and aren’t we all just out here doing it for the love of our art?

I love, love, LOVE an extended family session. This is a small portion of what we got, but it gives a great idea of what to expect when you book one with me!

I love capturing all the family constellations.

Group photos, photos of the kids, every family gets their own section of family photos (I'm definitely going to be sharing those individually in the future), and couples portraits. ❤

I do a mix of posed, prompted, and candids. Because these sessions are a celebration of a family's growth and you deserve to have it all captured.
