Sunset did its thing and the zinnias showed off, but honestly the real show was these two. Both girls brought those impossible‑to‑fake smiles — the kind that make you forget you’re holding a camera and just want to keep shooting. The light softened everything into that perfect golden glow, the flowers framed them like a living painting, and the whole scene felt like a little pocket of summer you want to keep forever.
There’s something about sister sessions that always gets me: the tiny shared jokes, the way one will nudge the other and both will burst into the same grin, the quiet moments that say more than any posed smile. These frames are exactly that — bright, warm, and full of the kind of joy that prints beautifully.

Every year, mini session launch day feels like opening the doors to a carnival. People rush in, grab their favorites, text their friends, and suddenly I’m sitting here watching sessions disappear like popcorn.
Well it’s that time again.
Mini sessions are LIVE.
This year’s lineup is stacked: Zinnia Fields, Back‑2‑School (a fresh style for school photos), Fall, Pumpkin Patch, Halloween, and Christmas. These are the sessions that always end up being everyone’s favorite photos — the ones that get printed, framed, gifted, and passed around at family gatherings.
And because launch day deserves a little celebration, the first 24 hours come with $25 off.

There’s something about photographing middle schoolers that feels like catching lightning in a jar — that perfect mix of childhood sweetness and the “I’m basically grown now” confidence. Justice showed up to her Zinnia Field session with the kind of energy that makes you instantly smile. She’s stepping into cheer and volleyball this year, and you can already tell she’s going to bring the same spark to the court that she brought to her photos.
The flowers were soft and dreamy, the light was gentle, and Justice well, she was just herself. It was a bajillion degrees outside and your would not know it from her photos. Funny, bright, full of personality, and completely ready to take on a new school year. These are her school photos — the ones she’ll look back on someday and remember exactly who she was in this moment.

Seniors we need to talk.
Every year I watch you all hit that moment where you suddenly realize, “Oh no I actually need senior photos.” And then you start spiraling about outfits, locations, hair, whether you should smile with teeth, without teeth, whether your hands look weird, whether you should bring your dog, whether your dog will behave, whether your mom will behave you know exactly what I’m talking about.
Here’s the thing: senior photos don’t have to be stressful. They don’t have to be stiff. They don’t have to look like you borrowed someone else’s personality for the day. When you book with me, I’m going to photograph you — the real you — the one your friends know, the one your family loves, the one who shows up with a whole personality and a story worth capturing.

✨ Old Settlers Queen & Princess Contest — 2026 ✨
What an absolutely beautiful night celebrating all the incredible young ladies — 7 Queen contestants and 4 Princess contestants — each one shining in her own way. The dresses, the hairstyles, the big smiles it was all pure magic.
The turnout was amazing, and seeing the community show up to cheer for these girls made the evening even more special. Every single contestant did such a wonderful job, and I’m so proud of how confidently and gracefully they represented themselves.

Old Settlers Picnic — New Florence, MO
The gallery from this weekend’s Old Settlers Picnic is live — full of color, smiles, and all the small moments that make this tradition so special.
What a day — from the festive parade floats to the friendly competition of the cook‑off, the adorable baby show, pedal tractor pull, co****le, and of course the always‑memorable grease pig contest (that one never disappoints). The live bands brought the perfect soundtrack, and the whole town showed up to celebrate.
