This picture, taken with 35mm film or maybe even 110 camera. Taken in 1989 probably. I was 12 and submitted a 5x7 to the county fair and went through my first face to face judging.
Keeping in mind, these are days of zero edits.
I remember this judging as if it just happened. And the critique of picture has stuck with me a lifetime so far.

Overall the picture had great comments, but marked down over the location of the chain blocking the subject.

30 years later... Photography has changed so much, but I still treat it like film days... Simple and natural. It's about the fun, connection and photo therapy!

Photo of my frame, hence the spots and lack of clarity.
