🚀 A rare view of Space Shuttle Endeavour! Captured by the International Space Station crew, this stunning image gives us a direct look into the cockpit windows of one of NASA’s most iconic spacecraft. 🛰️✨

Endeavour, the fifth and final Space Shuttle built, was a true workhorse of human spaceflight, completing 25 missions between 1992 and 2011. It played a key role in assembling the ISS, delivering critical modules, and even repairing the Hubble Space Telescope!

Now retired, Endeavour is on display at the California Science Center, where it continues to inspire the next generation of explorers.

Just got back from CH Booth Library in Newtown. Today was the opening reception of NASA’s Discover Exoplanets exhibit, where my astrophotography is currently hanging. Good food, band, interesting people, and a great exhibit courtesy of NASA, and the good people of Booth Library. If you’re out that way (around the corner and through woods… ) you should check it out!

You've probably never seen an image of Earth like this one. It is centered on the middle of the Pacific Ocean, which gives us a taste of just how enormous it is.

Here’s another Saturn from last night’s shoot. I still haven’t gone through all of the data, but this is currently the best image. The seeing was so good for a change! See the comments for the capture details.

This Picture of the Week shows a beautiful flock of sheep 🐑 grazing in the Chilean Andes... 🤨 🧐

No, wait, wait, wait!

This Picture of the Week shows the beautiful antennas of ALMA Observatory , operated by ESO and its international partners in the Chilean Andes. Ok, that's better! 😁

These "sheep" can be physically moved and arranged in different configurations...do you know why?
