When Johnny was a baby I got to play with him on the sidelines of soccer games. I always enjoyed his many moods.

One of the most memorable exchanges was a day when he was giggling and happily interacting with me. Apparently, I overstayed my welcome into his toddler space. He looked at me, dead in the face, and said "too much."

I think about that day a lot and regret that I can't use that line on more people.

When I do sports photos, I always ask them for a smiling expression and then their game face. I typically don't ask the youngest players for their game face because they get confused.

I took this little lady's photos and when I didn't have her do a game face she said "Hey, I didn't get to do a sad face. "

Naturally, I had to call her back over!

I hope her parents print this picture for her graduation invitation and then invite me to the party!! I almost put her in my pocket and brought her home with me.
