This is way overdue….I made a promise to myself that 2023 is the year that I get back to my photography. With COVID shut down happening shortly after I arrived in Louisiana, I focused on getting a new job and put my photography gear and camera aside. I focused all my energy on a new career and let my photography remain on the back burner. I have missed creating art with clients so it’s overdue for me to get back out there and get back to creating.
This year (down here in Louisiana), once the weather gets nice and greens start popping again, I will be looking for both human and animal models. Portrait sessions for both people with and without a pet! Yep, you read that right…I’m opening my business back up to people portraits after 14 years of being pets only. If you have something you are wanting to create let me know.
I will be doing some sessions for free to rebuild my portfolio since a majority of my current portfolio is from Illinois. If you are interested, reach out and lets start planning!

I decided to take a short adventure out today before the rookery at Rip Van Winkle Gardens gets really crowded for mating season. Oh the birds are just so gorgeous right now and we even saw what appeared to be a little family of gators. There were about 7 or 8 of them but the trio photographed were picture perfect.
