📣 Pittsburgh Photography Club needs YOU!

Our club runs on the dedication of its members, and right now we have three volunteer opportunities that need to be filled:

📷 Director of Digital Competitions – A Board position previously held by member Bill. Responsibilities include overseeing our digital competition program. Details available upon request.

🖼️ Salon Chairperson – Organizes our annual spring salon and works with the Salon Committee. Board participation is optional for the right volunteer.

🎥 Live Stream Help – We need 3–4 volunteers to help set up and manage live streaming of our meetings at the Mt. Lebanon Recreation Center. With 17 meetings to cover, you'd only need to handle 4–5 sessions. Galen Grimes will be there to guide you!

These positions need to be filled quickly. If you're interested in any of these roles, or know someone who might be, please reach out!

Christine Lorenz – Spirit Photography

Join us as member favorite presenter, Christine Lorenz, brings to us another interesting topic on the history of photography. We will look at some fun material from the 19th century, focusing on William H. Mumler, who was famous for claiming to capture an image of Lincoln from beyond the grave.

Christine joins us on the heels of being chosen for the Silver Eye Center for Photography, and having her work chosen as featured artwork for Concourse D of the renewed Pittsburgh International Airport. She currently is a featured artist in “Ambiguous Boundaries” at the in Sewickley.
