Carolyn and Cooper were married on October 4, 2017, just days before Hurricane Nate made landfall East of New Orleans. With a voluntary evacuation in place, they embraced the moment—fleur-de-lis rain ponchos and all. The First Look photographs moved indoors, and thanks to .gle_events, this stairwell turned out to be the perfect spot. Carolyn and Cooper’a positive outlook set the tone.

I was saddened to hear that the historic Nottoway Plantation was destroyed by fire on May 15, 2025.

As the weekend of February 19, 2011, approached, friends and family gathered in New Orleans for a joyful celebration honoring Lydia Wickliffe Fenet and Christopher Barrett Delaney.

After the ceremony at Christ Church Cathedral, transportation—complete with chilled Champagne—was waiting to es**rt the bridal party and guests to Nottoway for the reception.

Their wedding was later featured in the June/July 2011 issue of *Town & Country* magazine, in an article titled *“A Southern Soirée.”*

It was a beautiful night, and I’m grateful I could photograph Nottoway at its finest—a night filled with music, Champagne, dancing, and a touch of delicious Southern cuisine.
