Here are a few images that I captured while second shooting a wedding this spring for the incredibly talented Sarah Mattix | Sarah Mattix Photography! ✨

One of the things I love most about second shooting is that, even after 10 years as a professional photographer, I'm still learning, growing, and finding new ways to improve my craft. Working alongside creative, talented photographers like Sarah is a privilege that I'll never take for granted.

Second shooting is such a fun change of pace because it gives me the opportunity to capture angles and moments that I don't always get to focus on while lead photographing a wedding day. I love being able to support the lead photographer while telling the story from a different perspective. It keeps me creative and helps me continue growing as an artist.

I'm so grateful for every opportunity to observe, collaborate, and continue growing as both an artist and a storyteller. 🤍

What’s my favorite part about being a New Orleans proposal photographer? I get to document the love between two people as they begin their next chapter together. 🤍

When Tyler reached out and told me he wanted to surprise Malloree with a proposal on the Riverwalk overlooking the mighty Mississippi River, I couldn’t wait to help bring his vision to life. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, and her reaction was everything he had hoped for. ✨
