While summer may be winding down, I’m still behind the scenes editing all of the beautiful moments it brought with it! ☀️

The past few months have been filled with so many incredible weddings, wonderful families, and meaningful moments, and I can’t wait to start sharing more of what I’ve been up to!

For now, here are a few sneak peeks from a recent extended family session! 🤍

Extended family sessions are about so much more than simply gathering everyone together for one big group photo. Along with those precious multi-generational images with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and everyone in between, I also make time for individual family groupings, couples, siblings, and those smaller connections that make your family uniquely yours.

It’s the best of both worlds—and a wonderful way to preserve your family as it is in this season. 🥰

There are few greater honors as a photographer than being chosen to capture your family. 🤍

But you know what’s an even greater honor?

Being chosen year after year.

Getting to watch your babies grow into toddlers, your toddlers into big kids, and your big kids into young adults. Getting to document the birthdays, the new babies, the graduations, the family traditions, the changes, the in-between seasons, and all of the little moments that make up your family’s story.

Being invited back into your lives again and again is something I never take for granted.

Because your family won’t look the same every time we meet—and that’s the beautiful part. Every season brings something new to celebrate, something new to remember, and another chapter to capture.

Whatever season your family is walking through, I am deeply grateful to be a small part of it. Thank you for trusting me with your memories, for inviting me back year after year, and for allowing me the incredible privilege of watching your family grow.

It truly is one of my favorite parts of this job. 🤍

Can you tell me the last time you attended a wedding on a Wednesday??

Well, for me, it was one week ago! David and Hanna held an intimate wedding, accompanied by their immediate family, at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame. In traditional fashion, the two walked hand in hand down the aisle together, a moment made even more special as Hanna wore her mother’s wedding dress. There was no shortage of smiles, laughter and joyful tears amongst everyone in the room. What an honor to play a small part of their beautiful day!

YOU GUYS 🤩

Last night's senior session at the fair was one for the books! Walking around with Fairfield senior, Baige, and her mom hardly felt like work. We had SUCH a fun time, saw everyone (as you do at the fair) and even indulged in some yummy session props 🍩 (officially my favorite perk!). I just couldn't narrow down my favorites from this session 😁

I just have to know, what is YOUR go-to favorite fair treat?!

When Lois and Jim first reached out about capturing family photos while everyone was in town, I knew this session was going to be something special. 🤍

Getting to photograph their family in the very home they built for their children years ago—and where the next generation has now grown up—made these moments all the more meaningful. There was something so sweet about capturing not just a family, but the home, memories, and generations that have filled it with so much love over the years.

What a joy it was to preserve these precious moments for their family to look back on for years to come! ✨

I'm not sure that 4th of July can get much CUTER than this!

When Hannah reached out saying that she wanted to surprise her parents with a photo session on their beautiful property, I was just so excited! I have been blessed to know this family for about 15 years now, ever since meeting Hannah as a 5th grader in the youth group! In 2020, my daughter was the flower girl in her wedding and now I'm taking pictures of her sweet little girl! What a special evening indeed!
