“I grew up in Minnesota, US. I recently moved to the warmer, contrasting climate of Arizona. It has offered so many opportunities to photograph AND plenty of sunshine!”

Most unique place I have photographed:
“New York City, NY. I was surprised by the reality of the city compared to what I had expected before visiting.”

Go-to snack:
“Fresh strawberries”

What draws you to landscape photography?
“The ability to test my skills - photographing at different angles, the unpredictability of nature, and the ability to showcase my own perspective. Plus, nature is good for relaxing.”

Here at Scottsdale Marriott at McDowell Mountains for our photography expo: Capturing Natural Beauty!! It's going on now through Saturday, October 5th, till 2 pm. Our photographer, James Deppa, has 120 photographers in display from landscape, wildlife to floral from all over the world. This collection is from over 15 years of photography. The photographs on display are going to be one of a kind and not reproduced for sale again. Come check it out!!
