Rain lingered to the north while the Strawberry Full Moon set as the sun rose to greet the day. The colors were spectacular, blending pinks, oranges, blues, and golds into a dreamy morning.

This moon may be called a micro moon because of its distance from Earth, but it felt no less potent. The man in the moon said, “This moon carries extra sweet energy, supporting you as you harvest what you’ve been sowing. Release the old clutter and step into your next chapter.”

Momma Turtle also came ashore, took her time, and decided this wasn’t the right spot to lay her eggs. She reminds us to trust our intuition, even when it adds more work. Your inner knowing is guiding you every step of the way.

Good Morning Friends! Mother Nature brought us a peaceful sunrise with loads of wildlife today. The flock of gulls was bigger than usual and was even joined by a solo skimmer.

A pod of dolphins surfed the waves at first light before heading northbound. Shark Shallows had a steady line of traffic searching for breakfast. Not to worry — the sharks were only interested in their morning meal, while surfers walked right through the breakfast line just fine.

The little shark said, “The shark said, “I’m a reminder to use all your senses when searching for breakfast… or anything else you’re trying to find. Stay focused, trust your instincts, and don’t be distracted by surfers.”

With so much happening in the world, I’ve been thinking a lot about healing, where it begins, and how it changes us.

This was the very first trailer we made for my documentary. It’s raw, and recorded on the day the story first found its voice.

In my 26 years as a mental health counselor, I’ve seen how people disconnect from pain.

When my husband died suddenly, Mother Nature held my hand and helped me heal.

The dolphins became my teachers.
The camera became my bridge.
And this journey changed my life.

What begins in one heart often finds its way into many… and what begins as one person’s healing often becomes a ripple that touches many.

Tales from the Lagoon~ Episode- Get your Fish On!
The day started with a short visit from Boop Momma and Baby Puff. Then Jagger, a large make swam in for lunch. I've known Jagger since 2022, he's a big boy! He's a gentle giant but also has the energy of a bouncer.

He's tangled with a few sharks... last time I saw his rostrum looked pretty beat up but he is looking strong and healed up today.

The pelican found a dead fish.. he thought about trying to get it down the hatch but realized that wasn't a good idea...catch and release.

Good Morning!
Large storm clouds hung along the horizon this morning, with lightning quietly lighting up the sky before the sun arrived. Even with the energy of the storm offshore, the light breeze and calm ocean made it feel like a peaceful start to the day.

As the sun began to rise, light streamed from behind the clouds, bringing a soft and hopeful feeling to the morning. A flock of gulls gathered for bath time while a few egrets walked through the shallows, searching for breakfast.

The egret brought us the message today, “The ocean current is strong today, but that’s okay. I am fully grounded in my long legs, steady and balanced, so I don’t get knocked over. I am a reminder that even when life’s current feels strong, staying grounded helps us move through it with grace.”
