Stepping into a new season of life

Time after time I’ve tried to find the right words so I’m just going to get to the punch and announce that Ember + Moon Collective is coming to a close. We have made this decision with much thought and prayer, knowing that this is what is best for the season of life we are in and for the future we want with our children and family. With that being said moving forward, I will serve those who are already on my calendar- this includes scheduled family/couple sessions, baby bundles, and weddings. Those of you who have gift certificates and who have purchased a session during my Black Friday sale, YES- I will still be getting you in my books. Please reach out sooner rather than later to get scheduled ✨📸 July through November are the months to choose from!
Now that I got the hardest part out of the way, I want to express how much all of you mean to me. I’ve done this professionally a little shy of 10 years. In that time I’ve met many amazing people, people who impacted my life without evening knowing it, people who taught me lessons, people who shared their happiest moments with me, people who shared their sorrows and losses with me. People who let me into their homes and trusted me with their family’s memories and vulnerable moments and the list goes on. This has always been so much more than taking photos. You blessed me creatively, financially and most importantly- you blessed me with so much joy. Ember + Moon Collective has its name for a reason. You are all shining lights- the Embers that have fed my fire for so long, the Moon that has shined in some of the darkest parts of my life. So many of you have been with me through all the seasons, and allowed me to be a part of yours. I am forever grateful to have met, and created beautiful, magical moments with you. From the very deepest parts of my soul, thank you so much for blessing me with your presence, trust and support for all these years.
What you can expect from me moving forward- first off, sessions and work will still be happening for the rest of 2026 but I will not be taking on any new bookings other than those purchased already and/or ones already booked. For those of you who were looking forward to booking with me for photos that have not been added to my calendar and did not purchase a session or certificate, I see you, I love you, I appreciate you so much but I will recommend other talented photographers in the area that I personally adore and admire for you to go to from here on out.
Regarding uploaded galleries- All active galleries online will stay active for the rest of 2026. There will be a time in the future you will not be able to access your gallery. To avoid losing your photos, please download them, save them and print them. I wouldn’t want you to lose such sacred memories, as I will part with these.
As far as my Facebook business page, I will be keeping it active for viewing and reminiscing. Here and there I’ll post work the rest of this year, as I still have sessions and pretty pictures to share with you all.
