Nearly two decades after the original introduced us to Mitchie Torres, Connect 3 and some of Disney Channel’s most memorable musical moments, Camp Rock 3 is bringing the franchise back for a new generation.

But Camp Rock was always about more than the music. These movies gave an entire generation songs to memorize, characters to connect with and memories they still talk about today.

Beyoncé didn’t just make Renaissance—she built a celebration of Black music history.

Released in 2022, the album brought house, disco, funk and ballroom influences to the center of pop music while shining a spotlight on the Black and q***r communities that helped shape these sounds.

From “Break My Soul” and “Cuff It” to the Renaissance World Tour, the project became more than an album. It became an experience—and a reminder that looking back at music history can be one of the most powerful ways to move music forward.

Everyone Wants the Contax T2. I Bought The Contax TVS Instead.

Everyone talks about the Contax T2 and T3. But after a few months with the original Contax TVS, I think we’re overlooking one of the best premium point-and-shoot film cameras ever made. 📸

The TVS gives me something I really wanted in an everyday film camera: a compact body, autofocus, Aperture Priority and, most importantly, a Carl Zeiss 28–56mm zoom lens.

Whether I’m walking around NYC, traveling, shooting portraits or documenting everyday life, it’s become the film camera I actually want to carry.

And the photos? They’re a huge part of why I keep reaching for it.
