hey friends I'm alive! took a bit of an unintentional Instagram hiatus (oops) but had to hop back on to share some of this nyc snow globe goodness & to celebrate the start of lovers weekend!!! I'm a big fan of february & any excuse to tell your people (romantic! platonic! familial!) that you love them. hug your people tight!!

pretty sure we giggled this entire session and I probably "shut up this is perfect" a hundred times. what can I say! I just love these two and their love & I am so grateful I got to capture a small piece of the new york chapter of their story!

I'm headed to New York in a couple weeks for my job, and I'm soooo excited to start capturing so much love & memories in the city! I'm taking a couple more sessions in STL for the end of July & then NYC sessions from mid August and beyond. I'll be offering heavily discounted rates for my first couple months as I build my client base in the city so be on the lookout for those announcements. I remember being so scared to move this little biz to California 4 years ago, but any expectations I had were so unbelievably exceeded by all of the special people & places I got to know through this job. Now it's time to do it all over again on the other coast! How freaking exciting.

Updating my website to New York gave me the push I needed to finally do some rebranding and update my website which you can see at vjoyphoto.com!
