Portrait of Steve Aoki by Indira Cesarine

Creative Space Artists is proud to represent photographer Indira Cesarine, whose portrait of DJ, producer, and cultural icon Steve Aoki was created for Untitled Magazine in 2016.

The shoot accompanied an interview in which Aoki reflected on his academic background and early engagement with activism. During college, he studied Women’s Studies, an experience that helped shape his approach to advocacy and cultural dialogue alongside his career in music.

Creative collaboration for the project included grooming by Annaliese (Judy Casey Inc.), fashion assistance by Calvin Chandler, and video editing by Michael Hollembeak, with lighting support from Profoto and K&M Camera.

We’re incredibly proud to share some wonderful news from Doron Gild, a photographer we’re honored to represent at Creative Space Artists.

After years of holding back from submitting his work to competitions, Doron recently decided to take a leap — and it paid off. He has been selected as a winner of the 7th Annual Chelsea International Photography Competition, a moment that carries special meaning given his long and complicated relationship with the New York art world.

Even more exciting, Doron will be part of a group exhibition in Chelsea, with four of his works selected for display after curatorial review of full portfolios. The exhibition will be on view for one week — a milestone Doron never imagined reaching, and one we’re thrilled to celebrate alongside him.
