To the neighbor who picked up my dog mess and then decided to bring it over and leave it on my doorstep…
What was the goal there, exactly?
I checked my porch camera this morning and watched a grown adult walk onto my property, place dog p**p directly on my welcome mat, and just walk away like that was a normal, reasonable response.
I get it — nobody likes finding dog waste in their yard. That part I understand. But turning it into a kind of “return to sender” situation and leaving it at someone’s front door just feels way over the line.
If there was an issue, a knock on the door or a simple conversation would’ve solved it in seconds. Instead, it turned into something way more uncomfortable and unnecessary.
At this point, what could’ve been a quick neighborhood chat has turned into a much bigger issue than it ever needed to be.
I just hope moving forward we can handle things like adults and communicate directly instead of escalating it like this.
