A beautiful Sunday spent with The Rickos!!!

Christina and Jon threw one amazing party that night!!! The dance floor was absolutely epic and packed the whole night. These two are the sweetest as are their family and friends 🫶🏼 everything was so beautifully executed and I’m swooning over these photos. Cannot wait to share more!!!

The Palumbos as of May 29th 2026!!!

Where do I even begin… an absolutely stunning day all around for these two amazing people!! What started from a quiet morning frolicking in the grass to a packed dance floor of all their loved ones. At one point I turned to someone and asked if everything was okay because everything was truly that perfect. It was an honor to capture Alyssa and Nicks day and I cannot wait to share more 🤍

Cocktail hour... the most underestimated content of the day. Most think.. it’s cocktail hour, people are just eating, drinking, chatting... I see It as much more!!

Cocktail hour is reaching towards the climax of the day- it’s right before the party is about to begin. The vibes are high and everyone’s getting ready for the reception to dance for the rest of evening.

The importance of capturing this hour is to remember the people who came out to attend your day, the details of the drinks, food... the act as sensory anchors to bring you back to that moment.

I won’t lie to you.. i use to see cocktail hour photos as something i didn’t look forward to until I changed my perspective, now it’s one of my favorite parts of the day 💃💃

This morning I was able to be a part of something very special 🥹

On Saturday night I was scrolling Facebook when I saw a post pop up in a local group. It was an anonymous post from a woman who worked at a local dress shop - she shared that a woman came in to find a wedding dress and shared that she was getting married this upcoming Wednesday at the town hall. The couple was rushing to do this quickly due to her fiance’s sudden medical diagnosis. They have been together for 25 years and thought now would be the time to get married as they didn’t know how much time they’d have left together. The post was looking for a hair and makeup artist originally but the comments were filled with all local businesses volunteering services and donations towards this couple - myself being one.

Fast forward to today, this morning I went across town to meet with Yvonne and John at their house. Yvonne was getting her hair and makeup done by Rachel and Tara who donated their time and services to prepare Yvonne for her big day. I was welcomed by the most joyful and sweetest energy as soon as I met Yvonne. She shared her story with me and vice versa- we immediately bonded over our love for animals and rescuing dogs.

Yvonne has recently endured so much between John’s diagnosis of cancer, losing her cats and most recently her dogs. She’s been caring for John with long days at the hospital and all of his doctors appointments. Aside from siblings, these two only have each other. They thought if not now to get married then they might not ever. They are beyond thankful for everyone who helped put this day together, Yvonne kept saying all morning what she did to deserve all of this and only knowing her a few hours I could see why she did. A HUGE thank you to Amanda for using the kindness in her heart to make this the best day ever for these two. I am so grateful I was able to be a little part of this very special day. I also am so grateful to have met Yvonne, the absolute sweetest woman she truly touched my heart. It’s so wonderful how many people in our community were able to help, faith in humanity restored a bit 🥹🤍
