I have documented countless faces on the streets of NYC (subway, the Met, Charli Barclay’s concert, Fort Greene stoops, les gallery openings) and we were able to bring those looks into the studio with a wonderful team of professionals. A meaningful collaboration, creating a beauty story rooted in reality, elevated to a vision.

Les Femmes du Sud series – I spent some time on the Côte d’Azur this summer, and the local gals were serving. That Mediterranean ease and joie de vivre — uninhibited bodies, a delightful abundance of bijoux, a joyful, bold femininity, all with the frivolous manners typical of the South.

Not an easy crowd though. I got probably 5x the no’s to every yes of a street portrait, but we got a fab group nonetheless 💅
