His photographs have been named official selections in several international photography exhibitions as well as featured in New York Magazine. Dan was one of five winners chosen (out of over 7000 submissions) in the Flickr 2018 “Your Best Shot” photography competition and named a finalist in t

he 2019 Travel Photographer of the Year Awards. Dan specializes in documentary, photojournalism, event and travel photography.

Former Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant performing with his band Saving Grace (featuring singer Suzi Dian) last week at the cavernous Cathedral of St. John the Divine, the largest church in North America. The sold-out show was presented by the good folks at (le) poisson rouge (aka LPR), a live music venue and multimedia art cabaret located on Bleecker Street in NYC’s West Village.

The breathtaking Sanctuary of Virxe da Barca stands at the very end of the Camino Finisterre and Muxía and is one of the oldest (and most popular) pilgrimage sites in Galicia. According to legend, the Virgin Mary appeared to the Apostle James, arriving at this very coast in a stone boat led by angels to encourage and renew his strength. The scattered boulders surrounding the church (known as the “stony sanctuary”) are believed to be remnants of this miraculous vessel.

The Seminole Tribe of Florida hosted its annual celebration of Native culture and arts this past weekend at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood. The Seminole Tribal Fair and Pow Wow featured a drumming competition and exhibition dancing as well as live music performances and plenty of art and crafts for sale.
