Krystine + Chris… you two understood the assignment. 😭🤍✨

This entire day felt like THEM, sentimental, hilarious, a little chaotic in the absolute best way, and filled with the kind of love you can actually feel through the photographs.

And this gallery is also such a perfect little piece of my photographer heart because it blends two things I absolutely LOVE: the nostalgic, imperfect, emotional feeling of film with everything today’s technology lets me create. 🤍🎞️📸

Give me the grain, Give me the motion blur, Give me the slightly imperfect frame that feels like it came out of your parents’ old photo box. Then give me the crisp, beautiful storytelling modern cameras allow so I can preserve every tiny detail. I never want a wedding gallery to feel like one trendy preset copied 1,000 times. I want it to feel alive, Like memories, Like YOUR memories.

And Krystine + Chris gave me plenty to work with. 😂

🚙 A vintage car
🍦 AN ICE CREAM TRUCK because apparently cake wasn’t enough 😂
🏃‍♀️ Running through the golf course while I yelled “KEEP GOINGGGG” like we were training for the Olympics
😎 Reception glasses and pure chaos
✨ And a sparkler send off that could not have ended the night more perfectly

But tucked between all of that fun were the moments that matter most. Family, Little hands, Meaningful details, Happy tears, The people who helped shape them, And two people who somehow kept finding each other in the middle of all the noise!

That’s what I want photographs to do!

Not just show you what your wedding looked like… but bring you right back to what it FELT like!

A little old-school nostalgia

CASEY + JOE 🤍✨

Some wedding days are beautiful… and some somehow manage to be holy, emotional, romantic, hilarious, slightly chaotic AND one giant party all at the same time.

Casey + Joe’s day was exactly that💍

They began their marriage in the most meaningful way, standing together before God, surrounded by their favorite people, promising forever during their beautiful Catholic ceremony. There is something about watching two people kneel together, pray together and choose one another before God that gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME. 😭🙏🏼

And thennnn we arrived at Curry Estate and apparently everyone collectively said, “Okay Jesus, we love you… but now it’s time to PARTY.” 😂😂

From veil-covered kisses, sunflowers, belly laughs and one ridiculously fun wedding party… to Casey casually being launched into the air like this was a completely normal wedding-day activity 😂🙌🏻… this day had SO much personality.

But underneath all the silliness was something even better, so much genuine love.

You could see it in the way Casey + Joe looked at each other, the way their families celebrated them, the way their friends SHOWED UP, the hugs, prayers, happy tears and all the little in-between moments.

Those are the moments that remind me why I love what I do so dang much. The best memories usually aren’t perfectly posed. They’re loud, emotional, sometimes ridiculous 😂 and completely, perfectly YOU.

Casey + Joe, thank you for trusting me with such a sacred and ridiculously fun chapter of your story. May your marriage always have this much faith, friendship, laughter and love… and preferably fewer occasions where Casey is airborne. 😂🤍

High school sweethearts → HUSBAND + WIFE 🥹😭 I mean COME ONNNN… these are the love stories that get me every single time!

There’s something so special about watching two people who practically grew up together stand before God and promise to keep choosing each other for the rest of their lives. 🤍

And apparently God said, “We’re adding a little water to this blessing.” 😂☔️ Because when I tell you it RAINED at Pleasantly Devine… it RAINED.

But the rain wasn’t stopping us!

We found the most perfect little tree line that became our God-made natural umbrella 🌳☔️ and somehow, tucked underneath those trees with the rain falling around them, we created some of my absolute favorite images.

And THIS is where I will always go above and beyond for my couples. If your hair needs fixing, I’m fixing it! If your dress needs carrying, I’ve got it! If the timeline goes sideways, we pivot! If it starts pouring during portraits, we’re finding some trees and making MAGIC. 😂🤍

Because I’m not just showing up with cameras. I’m showing up for YOU!

Wedding days aren’t about everything going perfectly. They’re about trusting that even when things don’t happen exactly how we pictured them, God already knew how the day would unfold. And sometimes His version ends up even more beautiful than ours. 🙏🏼

Tony + Annie 🤍

Some sessions mean more than just taking pretty pictures. This was one of them!

I met Tony back in 2023, never knowing that day I was gaining someone I would eventually consider a brother. Somewhere along the way, we became business partners, taking on this crazy wedding industry side by side. Me behind the photography and him behind the videography, building something together that I’m incredibly proud of!

Then Miss Annie came along 🩷 and watching their relationship grow has been something so special.

Annie, you’ve brought such a beautiful softness into Tony’s life. Patience, kindness, growth and, most importantly, a stronger relationship with God. I truly believe He knew exactly what He was doing when He brought the two of you together.

Photographing their engagement session wasn’t just another session for me. I got to photograph someone I consider a brother with the woman he gets to build his life with. 🥹

And it was even more special doing it at , the beautiful farm and venue of our dear friends Kelly and Bill, who have become family to so many of us. With my other brother from another .hrbek_weddings shooting alongside me and the amazing Eliza from capturing content, we were surrounded by our people, and that made this night even better. 🤍

The fields, the laughter, the dancing, the truck headlights and, of course, the duck who needed his moment 😂🦆 It was perfectly THEM.

Tony & Annie, I cannot wait to watch your love, faith and life together continue to grow. Always choose each other, keep God at the center, and never stop being each other’s safe place. 🤍

Some wedding days you photograph.
Some wedding days you feel.

This was one of those days. 🤍

The laughter, the nerves, the way they looked at each other when no one else was paying attention, the people surrounding them with so much love… all the little pieces that made this day theirs.

Photography freezes those moments, but there is something so special about getting to watch them move again. Hearing the voices. Seeing the tears fall. Watching the laughter happen all over again.

This is why I love when my couples choose photo and film. One day, this won’t just be their wedding video — it’ll be the sound of voices they miss, the way their people danced, the way they held each other, and a chance to step back into one of the best days of their lives. 🥹

Forever grateful that we were trusted to preserve it. 🤍
