So in the Xmen animated series, time travelers would always have some kinda computer or wristband to help them stay present in the time stream. Given that the theme for this photoshoot at was Afro Futurism, I translated that into "How do I stay present and relevant today and what's probably the next step for us?" What I came up with was simple, building a wrist gauntlet that has my QR Code to my social media info so that while in cosplay, I can ensure onlookers can follow me effortlessly and even send me pictures they take immediately so I don't lose a thing to time. My wheels be ever turning.

Random tip I learned that yall are probably like "we duh" check out Facebook marketplace for nerf guns and props. People want to get rid of their/their kids old ones all the time and dont even care for how much. I got both of mine for Bishop for $20 total lol. On some occasions they are broken and won't fire anyway which works perfect for conventions which won't allow you to bring props that can actually function and shoot a projectile (even if they aren't loaded). A couple cans of spray paint from black, silver, gunmetal etc and you have a new prop for an outrageous discount.

we had a bit of a wait but it was worth it to get the rest of the photos from the Afro Futurism themed Juneteenth photoshoot. It's my 4th cosplay photoshoot and it was such a good time. I revealed my 3rd 10 day cosplay build of Bishop from the X-men (my version being one who made a pit stop in Wakanda for some drip) The fight isn't here and now, it's for the future!
