That chocolate bar you gave me, (repost)
that was broken up in three.
The one that made me cry,
because they weren't broken equally.

Those stairs you walked down first,
as I walked behind.
The ones that made me cry,
because I like going first you'll find.

The breakfast that you gave me,
with my spoon of chocolate spread.
I am sorry that I cried
for the way you cut my bread.

Those chicken nuggets I love,
weren't cooked just right today.
I am sorry that I cried.
I can't help being this way.

I know i make things hard for you,
but I don't know how to change.
I am sorry that I cried
for all that I find strange.

You see I have my ways
and I know these frustrate you.
I am sorry that I cried,
but they get me frustrated too.

You see I am made different.
It's hard to understand.
I have heard it is called autism
and I need a helping hand.

To me it's all I know,
and all I ask of you,
is to please try to see it,
from my point of view.

I don't do things to be naughty.
I don't want to spoil your day.
I just don't know how to be,
any other way. 😭

“I drive a school bus and there's a 6th grader I want to talk about.
Last week, he mentioned that his elderly neighbor hadn’t left her house in weeks. I tried to explain how difficult it can be for someone her age to manage daily tasks. Then, on Tuesday, when I pulled up to his stop, he wasn’t there waiting. I glanced over and saw him shoveling her porch. Since I was early, I decided to wait for him. The other kids on the bus asked why I was waiting, and I told them, "Anyone helping someone deserves a few extra minutes."
What happened next truly warmed my heart. The other kids started asking him questions about his neighbor, and the next day, seven children got on the bus with blankets, food, and handmade cards for the elderly woman. After work, I delivered those gifts to her. Now, every day, she stands on her porch, and the whole bus waves good morning to her.
I'm so proud of this young man for stepping up and doing the right thing. He taught all the children something valuable. Every day, I smile with pride in my heart because of the extraordinary kids I have on my bus.”❤

Officer Wayne Llewellyn from Aynor stopped by my grandma’s house on the 9th and asked for my two boys and my nephew. I was a little confused at first, but he was really polite, so I went inside and called the boys outside.

Then, he walked up with a football in his hand and gave it to them. Earlier, he had seen them playing with a pine cone because their football was in my car while I was at the store. So, he went out and got them a real football to play with!

I thought that was such a kind thing to do, and I just wanted to give him a big shout-out. I wish more people were as thoughtful as he is!

My Woman Crush Wednesday is my 14-year-old daughter.

On our way home, she spotted a little kid sitting alone under a tree in a shopping center.

She said, “Mom, it’s too hot. Stop the car.” 🚗🌞

She got out and gently asked the boy, “Where are your parents?”

“I don’t know,” he said.

“Can you call them?”

“I only have my dad’s number,” he replied.

She handed him her phone, making sure to stand a little back so he wouldn’t feel scared.

Then she told him, “Get off the street and wait in front of Rite Aid. That way, no strangers can try to take you, and you can run inside if you need to.”

She turned to me and said, “Mom, let’s wait here until someone picks him up. If it takes too long, I’ll get him some water.”

Moments like this remind me that no one can tear me down as a mother. My kids are growing into kind, caring, and responsible young kings and queens. 👑❤️

Today, I was sitting at Taco Bell when a group of young boys walked in, laughing and talking loudly as they came in, clearly craving tacos. But as they sat down at a table, I noticed that only one of them had actually ordered something. The other three just stared at the menu, looking hungry. They started talking about school, girls, and all kinds of other random stuff.

Then, out of nowhere, a man who had been sitting in the corner stood up and walked over to their table. The boys seemed a little nervous, shrinking back when they saw this big guy, about 6'5". But then, the man surprised me with what he said. "Do y'all want a slushie? Come on up here, let me get you guys something."

The three boys quickly jumped out of their seats, excited, and ran up to the counter to order slushies. But the man didn't stop there. He offered to pay for their food too. He even asked the cashier to ring it up before they started making it since he needed to leave soon. After he paid, he waved goodbye to the boys, not expecting anything in return.

I quietly nodded at him and smiled, letting him know I noticed his kindness. He waved back and walked out the door, heading towards his semi-truck parked nearby. The boys, all smiling, turned around and yelled, "Thank you!" as he left.

Today, kindness and love looked like a 12-pack of tacos and three Starburst Freezes.

A kindergartener at Simonds was feeling really down when she got to school one morning, so her teacher asked her what was bothering her. She explained that she had lost a gem on the bus, but she had already told her bus driver, Mr. Hill, about it. About 20 minutes later, a para came into the classroom with the gem, saying that Mr. Hill had searched the bus and brought it right in when he found it. It really meant a lot that Mr. Hill went above and beyond for her. Thanks a bunch, Mr. Hill, for being a hero!

So I’m walking into Starbucks for the 2 o’clock caffeine craving and I’m greeted in the lobby with this girl holding her hand up, clearly for a high 5.

It caught me off guard because I walk through that door all of the time. I give her my best athletic high 5 and she belts out, “Thanks for saving our lives.”

The lobby patrons burst into laughter, recognizing the overflowing cuteness and full smile. To say she made my year is an understatement.

I asked her name and she said, Jasmine. She said, “Can I get a selfie with you”? Soooooo cute.

I had to take a selfie with my phone too. What a sweetie.

My daughter and I were 1500 miles away on a vacation. I was sitting on the beach when my husband called. He said “where are you’’ I said “sitting on the beach,” and He said please go up to your room and call me back” I knew immediately what he was going to say. But I kept making excuses in my mind as I rode up the elevator. I thought maybe he overdosed but they got him to a hospital in time.

I was right but I was wrong. My husband found our 19-year-old child dead in his bed. This is the last picture we took together. I miss him more than I can ever explain. We tried our hardest to get him help. He was in and out of rehab for the last 5 years of his life. We did everything we could to help him, but it wasn’t enough.

He walked into the café one day, asking for some money. I looked at him and asked, "Why don’t you have a job? You know nothing is given to me for free, right?" He replied, "I have a lot of felonies, and no one wants to hire me. So, I've had to turn to the streets, surviving by stealing and begging."
That day, I was short-staffed, so I asked him, "Do you want to work? I have a job for you!" His eyes lit up, and his smile made my day. He said, "I’ll do anything for some food." For nearly two weeks now, he’s been showing up on time for his two-hour shifts, helping with tasks like taking out the trash and washing dishes.
And what does he do when I pay him? He buys food from my restaurant—and insists on paying because it makes him feel good! He even gets a discount.
This experience taught me an important lesson: we shouldn’t judge people who are out there asking for help because we don’t know their situation. Some people just need another chance. God has blessed me, so why not share that blessing with others?
This is the kind of story that should break the internet. Want to see change? Start by being the change. 😉

NON RIDERS TAKE NOTE!!!!!
Riders know this, but the general public may not be awre. If you have never been part of a benefit ride you should know at least this:
Bikers PAY to ride. Something they could do for free. But they choose to pay to ride, the fee can be anywhere between $10 to $20 or $30 per person. Not only do they pay to ride, they usually drop a lot of cash for the extras. Raffles, 50/50, and silent auctions, even Toy Runs for kids....
When you see a group ride by, they are probably riding for charity/great causes/benefits! Instead of gettng upset because they blocked traffic or caused you a slight delay, please remember this: They are very generous people!!!
Give them space and your patience. It sometimes helps to have a little reminder about things. So please be patient and smile when you see them because they are doing something good for someone you may know, or for a good cause.

Shaquille O'Neal said, “My stepdad was a sergeant in the army—a serious, strong man of character. We had an excellent relationship.
I once played at Madison Square Garden against the New York Knicks in my first season in the NBA. I had a terrible game.
Afterward, he called me and asked why I played so badly. He wondered if it was the pressure of facing Patrick Ewing and the Knicks. I told him I felt pressure. He said, ‘Tomorrow, I want you home at 7:00 AM. Pick me up—we're going to see a family that has no home.’
On the way, we encountered a family in need. My stepdad stopped, gave them money for their next meal, and said, ‘That’s pressure. You have everything; you’re weak. There’s no pressure in playing basketball and earning millions of dollars. Real pressure is felt by those who don’t know when or where their next meal will come from.’ He told me to get out and help that family.
I got out and saw a man with his wife and two children who had just lost their home. The man was looking for work. He told me he was cutting grass. I called a friend and asked him to get this man a job. I called another friend and said I needed an apartment for a family of four, promising to send a check the next day. They needed help.
After that, I never felt pressure in a basketball game again because that family had real pressure.”

Two 13-year-olds, Blake and Daniel, stopped their game when they saw an elderly man struggling to cross the street with a walker. They helped him cross two streets, even stopping traffic to ensure his safety. They then escorted him to the train station and asked for help from a security guard. A witness, Lyqueeshah Brooks, shared their story, praising the boys and their parents for teaching them kindness.
