This whole sequence lasted maybe 10 seconds from the Osprey diving from is perch, catching the fish, then being chased by the gull. Worst part was having my camera on the wrong settings for the initial dive, but managed to capture the chase 🤷🏼‍♂️I’ll take it as a win.

Spent time Ballard/Hiram Chittenden Locks a couple of weeks ago in hopes to see the Transient Pod of Orca come through, but I was a day late 🤷🏼‍♂️

The Harbor Seals, however, showed up and showed out. I love the subtle softness to these paired with the glow from the sunset.

Kicking myself for not trying to find Thomas Dambo collection of trolls sooner in my travels. I’ve since found two, and am aiming to see as many of these amazing structures as possible.

Meet Mama Rosa, located in Wauwatosa, WI at Firefly Grove Park. The details in the troll are impressive in the day, but if you don’t come after sunset, you’re missing the glow of the street lamps. Furthermore, the attention to detail throughout the park with broken and bent lamp posts along the walking path is such a wonderful touch.

You’ve made me a fan Mr. Dambo. Incredible work and Im excited to find the next one.

The weather was less than cooperative for the Lunar Eclipse, however, stoked to get two drastically different images from the same Sturgeon Moon.

I really want to be on that plane, flying across the moon face. I assume the view is substantially better than the ground.

Coming off of a brief hiatus with a shot of this beautiful Buck Moon.

It’s been a minute, and life has been rough the past few weeks. I hope whoever is reading this is doing ok with whatever load you have had to bear.

Being an adult is lame.

Back home for a minute to take the pup on her first real hike in Valley Forge.

Everything was going great until she came upon that floating feather 😂

Luray Caverns you are beautiful.

The scope of these formations is laughable in these photos. The caverns are absolutely massive and the sheer size of the rooms makes you forget you’re actually underground.

Dream Lake (first 3 photos) was probably the spot we spent the longest, trying to overcome the illusion of the reflection despite the fact that it looks as if the floor drops and slopes lower.

Totems, Saracen’s Tent (yes, the rocks look like ribbon) and the largest instrument in the world , the Great Stalactite Organ. Don’t forget to make a wish in the well.

Other caverns in the area are nice, but this one is absolutely bonkers.

Long exposure, driftwood, and a lighthouse? ✅

Not pictured: The patience I had to muster to avoid families using the tree as a photo spot during the sunset.

Can’t blame ‘em though, it is a pretty photogenic spot.

This little Ghost Crab was hurling sand at me for trying to take too many pictures.

Or at least that’s what I’d like to believe.
