Calling all male Irish dancers.
Since launching The Dancer Within, the response from female dancers has been incredible.
But there’s one voice I would really love to make sure is represented in this project, too:
Male Irish dancers.
If you haven’t heard about The Dancer Within yet, it’s a new portrait campaign I created to celebrate the person behind the dancer—not just the scores, placements, and results.
I’m selecting a small group of Irish dancers to take part in a fully directed portrait experience with me, share a little of their story, and be featured in a limited-edition magazine created exclusively for the campaign.
And I would love for 1–2 male dancers to be part of it.
Tell your dance story and share your love for Irish dance that has shaped some part of who you are.
Know a male dancer who should be part of this?
TAG them (or their parents!) below or send this post to them.

THE DANCER WITHIN — a new portrait campaign celebrating the person and dancer behind the scores, placements, and results.

Because somewhere underneath the competitions, the pressure, and the constant pursuit of the next goal is the reason you started dancing in the first place.

The joy. The artistry. The love of performing. The feeling of simply being a dancer.

The Dancer Within is about reconnecting with that part of you — and creating something beautiful to celebrate it.

I’m looking for just 15 dancers to be part of this special portrait project.

Each selected dancer will have their story and portrait featured in a limited-edition magazine created exclusively for The Dancer Within.

Applications are officially OPEN.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is...

"I'm not good enough for a photoshoot yet."

"I'll wait until..."
..I'm a better dancer.
..I make the podium.
..I qualify for Worlds.

Please don't wait.

People often assume the dancers they see on my page are all World Champions or World qualifiers.

They're not.

Adison dances at the Prizewinner level, and she absolutely crushed her session with me. ✨

A great dance portrait isn't reserved for dancers at the highest competitive level. It's about celebrating your journey and capturing this chapter of your dance career.

My job isn't to photograph dancers who already know exactly how to pose.

My job is to coach every dancer in front of the camera—refining technique, shaping beautiful lines, and creating poses that complement each dancer's individual strengths. The result is portraits that look polished, feel authentic, and celebrate who they are right now.

Whether you're dancing your first Prizewinner competition or stepping onto the Worlds stage, your story is worth celebrating.

And I think Adison's stunning portraits are proof of that. 💙

Every season tells a story.

The hours in the studio. The competitions. The early mornings. The highs. The disappointments. The moments that make all the hard work worth it.

This year, Will earned a recall at Nationals—a milestone worth remembering.

That’s what these portraits are really about. Not just documenting a competition outfit or a medal, but preserving a chapter of a journey that won’t last forever.

Congratulations Will. 🥳

What a season, Ella!

It's privilege to create these portraits to celebrate everything you've accomplished this year. Long after the medals are put away, these images will always be a reminder of the dedication and determination that brought you here.

Congratulations on an incredible season, Ella. I can't wait to see what comes next. ✨

The competition may be over.

The medals have been handed out. The trophies are heading home. The excitement of Nationals is starting to settle.

Now is the perfect time to preserve what this season meant.

At just 13 years old, Keira accomplished what many dancers spend a lifetime working toward—earning major accolades at the regional, national, and world level before retiring from competitive Irish dance. Now she’s traded her dance shoes for soccer cleats and is chasing a new dream.

Sports may change. Passions may evolve. Time moves on.

But the hard work that shaped you is always part of your story.

With Nationals now behind us, many dancers are coming home with medals, trophies, sashes, and personal bests. Whether this was your biggest accomplishment yet or the final chapter of your competitive career, don’t let those memories live only in a box or on your phone.

One day, the trophies may collect dust.

These portraits won’t.

I’m currently booking custom Irish dance photoshoot sessions in NYC, Southern Connecticut, and Boston.

If this season is one you’ll never want to forget, send me a DM or visit the link in the comments to start planning your session. 💚

One Dancer. From Little Girl to Young Lady. Countless Memories.

One minute they're a tiny dancer with big dreams.

The next, they're preparing for their senior year.

I've had the privilege of photographing Sheridan over years, and looking through these images feels a little like flipping through a family photo album.

One of the greatest privileges of my job is getting a front-row seat to a dancer's journey and documenting the moments that might otherwise blur together with time.

When you look at these images side by side, you realize how quickly the years pass.

And how important it is to preserve them.

The little girl in the first photo and the young woman in the last photo are the same person.

Just with years of dedication, growth, and determination behind her.

What an incredible journey it has been to witness Sheridan. 🥰 💚
