I just found out my photo of Ronnie Turner will be featured on the cover of the Okanagan Historical Society's upcoming book. Ronnie was 97 years old when we took his photo in 2008 and had been growing apples on the same piece of land in Salmon Arm his entire life. "It's in my blood... just like photography is for you" he said to me. Ronnie gave us a box of apples as we were leaving. The only thing he'd accept in return was our promise that we'd mail him a print. He lived to be 100. Thank you, Ronnie!
