Room 1014 🛎️ Hotel Chelsea

- Update 5/28/2026

Special Announcements:

Next court date June 3th, 2026 — One week away
Gerald’s new paintings are available

Here’s where we are:

31 years. Room 1014. The Hotel Chelsea. This is what we’re fighting for.

In April, the courts ruled against Gerald. A new lawyer showed up. We went back to court. Now we’re one week out from June 3rd, and Gerald is still here.
still painting, still creating.

The hotel bought 21 of his paintings. They hang in the hallways. The same ownership wants him gone. The contradiction is the point. This is what cultural displacement looks like in New York City.
