Kids, let me tell you the story of how I met Carter and Craig. It’s a great story. We met at a bar.

Without these two guys, there would be no , no Ted, no MacLaren’s, no Slap Bet, no Slap Bet Commissioner, no Premature Slapulation, no Slapsgiving… I digress.

It’s said there are two kinds of people and they marry each othe… Nevermind, I’m just gonna copy-paste that thing about Jesus and the footprints.

Carter Bays (Carter Bays) and Craig Thomas (Craig Thomas) are a writing partner powerhouse who 20-some years ago, created a fandom that echoed throughout eternity, and as a fan, I’m honored to capture these benefit concerts for them.

The Solids (The Solids) always put on an incredible show, and if you call yourself a fan of the HIMYM series, do yourself a favor and move heaven and earth to attend one of these at least once in your life, because it’s for an incredible cause.

Friends, take a look at these absolute legends. These fabulous musicians who make up the bulk of The Solids (The Solids) turn up and make this whole thing happen, playing and singing every genre imaginable — songs upon songs, guest after guest — blowing up every HIMYM soundtrack classic with talent and professionalism.

The way they so clearly care about each other and the fans that sell these shows out time and time again, and how they stay after to say hi, meet, listen to, and sign autographs for everyone in the crowd, these guys and gals ooze kindness and make every show shine, and they’re worth all the love for supporting the cause these shows are all really for.

After being in a way ‘introduced’ by Jason Kimmel (Jason Kimmel), Josh took to the stage with his friends The Solids (The Solids) for what has remained every benefit concert they’ve ever played, once again singing the crowd-pleasing HIMYM hit, ‘Super Date’, and his own ‘NYC’ from his 2023 full-length debut album, Eulogy, Vol. 1.
