To be entrusted by your heroes to create visuals to support such an incredible record is such a deep honor. I feel an immense amount of gratitude to have the SWITCHFOOT boys in my life. They have been a constant source of inspiration to me, well before we started working together.
My lens through which I saw these visuals draws primarily from the lyrics in Butterfly Effect:
I read when I was a kid That after your heartbeat stops You still have seven minutes Before your brainwaves shut off.
The irony merits a grin If I wasn’t outside of my skin That this is the last of the memories past Of the seven minutes I’m in.

When I heard those lyrics, I imagined a person watching their core memories at the end of their lives and realizing in a moment of clarity that every book, film, laugh, kiss, protest, conversation was all attempting to say the same thing: FOREVER NOW
