While I lived in New Orleans, I could easily convert my living room into a portrait studio. Working with a backdrop and two Alien Bees in a small space challenged me, but, regardless, I created beautiful and moving portraits that I still look at with pride and lots (and lots) of love.

Since the theme today is new beginnings (new account, new posts), it's only appropriate to share a photo from the first play I photographed: the production of Hamlet. This experience alone is where I fell in love with photographing live theatre. (And, coincidentally, the first time I truly understood Hamlet.)⠀⠀⠀⠀
