This week, I take on the terrible flex the GTO’s chassis came with from factory. Remember that unlike its contemporaries like the NSX and RX-7, the GTO shared a chassis with the Diamanté. But with some help from and in the form of strut bars, I flex on the flex.

Yes yes, many of my friends make a living working on cars, but I was really proud of myself for getting the bars to fit in my little garage, especially the front one that required me to move the A/C line. Now live! 👉🏼

This past weekend I crossed the 50-pound weight-loss mark, and I was excited to try the carbon buckets on this M2 CS again. Alas, I do not skip leg day and still find it a bit of a challenge to get in and out. But once you’re in, yea, the M2 CS especially needs them.

Would I have it over a Corvette Z06? Tough call. Would I have 3 of them over a GT3? Not even close - this is a really well done car, and perhaps the best G8X yet. Does it come in Miami Blue…?

I just wanted to say thanks to - they ran a great show that was organized, curated and enjoyable. Everyone was so welcoming to both me and the car, and it was an honor to share the floor with builds that clearly had time, attention and love in spades. Even the State Troopers came over to talk about the GTO, because he had a VR-4 himself! I hope to be back again next year!✌🏼

Just some roll-in fun with , and .

I love the BMW community, when they aren’t forgetting the difference between understeer and oversteer anyway. But my roots are with the JDM crowd, and it felt good to be back.
