Patterns, patterns, everywhere 🎶

Existing not only in nature, patterns develop in human behavior, personalities and in our creations. I enjoy capturing patterns wherever I am, these are photos I took while wandering around the beautiful Portuguese island of Madeira.

Speaking of patterns, this is a topic that needs to be discussed and dealt with stat: Ai. Ai can recognize, identify, and study existing patterns and then predict patterns. What it isn't capable of is human-level conceptual understanding and human emotion. Using any Ai system for mass surveillance on civilians domestically or otherwise with no guardrails alongside giving Ai autonomous control to destroy and kill anyone or anything is beyond a doubt absolutely terrifying and should be stopped. Ai needs to be regulated, full stop.

Patterns of chaos in nature seemingly exist in a complexity of order.

This levada hike was incredible, very easy walk if you don't have a fear of heights since you are literally walking along the edge of the mountain as you can see in slide 2.
Highly recommend and yes you should jump in the water, we did, it was invigorating!
Beautiful vegetation and spectacular vistas as well as quite a few impressive waterfalls and lagoons, one of the very many amazing hikes on the island.
