Such a great surprise proposal in Central Park yesterday! ❤️🤩 J&R (plus Peanut and Banana Pudding) went back to a special spot in the park near the lake’s edge, where R got down on one knee. A few portraits in the immediate area to soak in the moment and appreciate a lovely spring NYC day. Congratulations, y’all! 🥂🎊

10 years later!! ❤️🎊

H+C came back to NYC to celebrate their 10 year anniversary and it was so awesome to have them back in front of the lens. We hit the same Brooklyn neighborhood of DUMBO for portraits and actually pushed the shoot back a day because it was just so dreary on the day we originally had scheduled.

When we met by it was marvelously sunny out and we began to explore the neighborhood again. (But not before sampling a tasty bottle of chocolate whiskey I brought as a little anniversary tipple! 🥂)

Some people talk about wanting overcast days but please Lordy give me the sun any day of the week for the variety we can create. There’s always shade in the city, but you can’t order up the sun! (Insert photographers groaning about flash here.)
