Polaroid’s latest experimental film combines the chemistry of Blue 600 Film with a vivid Acid Red dye, creating images that bloom in otherworldly shades of purple. 💜

The effect is dreamlike, psychedelic, and completely new to instant film. Like every edition in the Reclaimed Series, it’s crafted using reclaimed materials from Polaroid’s factory, giving waste a second life and your photos new dimensions.

Compatible with Polaroid 600 cameras, but also with the Polaroid Now, Now+, Flip & I-2 cameras and Polaroid Lab printer.

Shop this collectible, limited edition film at the link in our bio, or at BrooklynFilmCamera.com.

Please welcome our May artist, Sebastian Ferruzo. Join us for his opening reception on May 7th at 7pm.

Sebastian Ferruzo is a self-taught photographer based in Jersey City, NJ. His work explores the
uncanny and the spiritual within everyday life. Through chance encounters, he photographs
strangers, responding intuitively to fleeting moments.

Rooted in the lyric documentary tradition, his photographs fuse observation with a subjective,
poetic sensibility. Working over extended periods of time, he builds bodies of work through
accumulation, allowing images to gather meaning through an edited sequence.

Sebastian was born in Peru and immigrated to the US illegally in early childhood. His formative
years were marked by adolescent transience, traveling across the country and engaging with
individuals living on the margins of society. These experiences continue to shape his artistic
approach, which engages with existential questions within unstable societal conditions.

His work will be on view in our store from May 7th–June 4th.

What: Exhibition Opening Night Reception: “On the Unspeakable”
When: Thursday, May 7th, 7–9pm
Where: 855 Grand Street, Brooklyn Film Camera

Join us for an evening of conversation, drinks, and film photography.
