My artist collective Openings Collective - is currently hosting a Paddle 8 auction whose purpose is to raise capital for their future programming. I'm happy to announce my participation alongside a number of talented artists via the inclusion of my image "Trinity 2". This photograph is from my Music and Liminality series which investigates the psychological experience of sound from both the performer and viewer perspective.

The piece itself is an archival injket print which is mounted on aluminum (ready to hang) and measures 30" X 20".

Sometimes I really miss the old New York haunts. The places where I used to hang with friends, watch bands perform, and have a few drinks (not necessarily in that order). Take this photo as an example. Taken back in 2002 at Don Hills featuring Jesse Malin, a disco ball, and a mannequin friend.

Happy everyone! I wanted to share this image that was shot in my Washington Heights apartment a few years back. I have a print hanging on my wall in my living room and till this day it remains one of my favorites.

A few years ago I wandered into the Met & fell in love with the exhibition "Glitter and Doom". The featured paintings were from the Weimer era in Germany & Otto Dix's work in particular really struck a chord with me. So much so that I created this portrait based on his painting "Portrait of the Dancer Anita Berber". Grant it the mood is different in my image but I was definitely inspired. I love great art.
