When you stop trying to shoehorn yourself into a single role and harness your true wiring, careers feel less like an uphill slog with anvil shoes and more like a rainbow playground with dolphins, unicorns, and all-you-can-eat sprinkles.
So if you feel like you’re “too many things” (for me: writer, producer, motion designer, video editor, wildlife rehabilitator, competitive ski racer, drummer learning guitar, artist — and on and on…), chin up and make a muscle – your adaptability, love of learning, and ability to draw connections others miss are your superpowers. So lean into your factory settings in 2026!
How has your smorgasbord of interests shaped your career? I’d love to hear your story! Please share below.
