This hot pink trellis of roses in Sconset is in peak bloom for only two weeks in July. These fleeting colors remind us how important it is to slow down, soak it in, and capture the moment while it lasts.
This is from a session traded with fellow photographer, , where we photographed each others’ families. Our kiddos are similar ages and we met through mutual friends. I found out they were visiting Nantucket, proposed we photograph together, and the rest is history. We both run portrait businesses and discovered that we are both Nescac alums as well.
What a gift for each of us to be on the other side of the lens for once. We had fun together on floral lanes, in dune grass at the beach, and ended the night in the waves. We had a gorgeous Nantucket evening to capture to these sweet, fleeting moments and colors.
