The Shoe Model Sharma:

This is my father, and like any other Indian father, he is not talked about a lot in my posts, because fathers are meant to be taken for granted (believe me, I am one now 🥸). So here I am talking about him in detail.

Mr. Sharma is (a)typical Indian father. Typical about being the man of the house, atypical about being the authority. He made the ground rules he deemed necessary, but never asserted his power (okay, this might not be 100% true, but just go with it for the sake of this post). He had that “serious dad” face generally, but said goody things to p**s off/p**sed off mother. He never asked me how my day at school was, but dropped me for my swimming lessons at 5 am everyday for 4 years. Most importantly, he did scold us every now and then, but never fought with my mother in front of us.

So here I present to you, my father, Shri Surendra Prasad Sharma 🥸😃!

Imagination:

Like many, one of my favorite lone times activity is imagining structures in flowing clouds. This becomes even more interesting at the dawn when the fresh rays of sun are casting their magic on the horizon, bursting spectrums of pinks and oranges and blues. Yesterday I saw a flying orange stingray in the sky which very quickly turned into a whale 🐳 and then a mountain 🏔!

As Pablo Picasso has famously said, “Everything you can imagine is real.”
