So happy and proud to announce that my work is going to be again at Rencontres D’Arles this year!
What’s especially exciting is that this year it’s my DREAM CHILDREN project, which, as many of you know, means so much to me, and I’ve been working a lot to get more visibility for the stories of fertility and reproduction.

Huge thank you to the and all the judges!

And thank you, dear Coco and Lara, for sharing your incredible story.

Happy International Women’s Day! 🤝
Huge thank you to all the previous generations of women’s right fighters and activists!
We still have a long way to go. And my personal goal is to bring back the control of our bodies and narratives around them. Let’s bring back free choice of what we want to do in terms of giving birth or not, breastfeeding or not, looking skinny or not, looking young or not. I don’t want to see or hear other women being critical of themselves or others, it has been destroying our confidence for generations!

Picture Perfect - so honoured to be part of this amazing exhibition providing a platform for a multitude of voices and a very current outlook on beauty related narratives and their political context.
If you can visit Brussels from today and until August 16, 2026 - highly recommend!

‘Through the lens of photography and video, made from the 1960s to today, this exhibition explores how artists depict and challenge established norms of who is considered beautiful. Unveiling the pressures and excess of what it means to be beautiful today, the works in this exhibition offer a diverse range of propositions, from the critical to the emancipatory.’

Alexandra Robson for Working Mothers.

Life as a working single mother is very much a work in progress for Alex; she finds that it’s constantly shifting. She works as a supervising producer for the video department of a magazine, setting up shoots and honing edits. She loves her job and finds it curious to be able to be fully absorbed by it still, despite having this new, all-encompassing absorption: her daughter, Tess, now nearly 18 months old.

She works remotely, which is a massive help in getting time back from commutes. When Tess is sick and at home with her during workdays, her head will pop up in the bottom corner of Zoom meetings and steal all the attention from the business at hand. She smashes the keyboard like a musical instrument that gives no notes.

She’s grateful for understanding colleagues and the village that is helping her learn a new life.

So proud and happy to be part of “Beauty through a Contemporary Lens” with my Essence of Beauty series at BOZAR Centre for Fine Arts alongside many highly esteemed contemporary artists.

‘After exploring love in 2024, physical beauty is the second thematic exhibition at Bozar focusing on what motivates us as humans. Through the lens of photography and video, made from the 1960s to today, this exhibition explores how artists depict and challenge established norms of who is considered beautiful. Unveiling the pressures and excess of what it means to be beautiful today, the works in this exhibition offer a diverse range of propositions, from the critical to the emancipatory’ - BOZAR.

Huge thank you 🙏🏻 for including my work.

I’ve seen and I know how many regular people from different countries have worked tirelessly and even sacrificed their lives to help Ukraine, to help bring this conflict to its end. But I’m tired of the world leaders constantly weighing up pros and cons and only taking half measures!

Shema With Her Son And Daughter for the Dream Children project.

I feel incredibly lucky to be able to share the story of this beautiful and a very special family. Shema’s story is very similar to mine, and I’m sure it’ll resonate with many others, too.

People often ask me whether or when I’d like to have a second child. The fact that we were also given an extremely low chance to conceive even with the IVF makes Aino a real miracle. But every time I hesitate to start explaining that; it’s a lot to pack into a one-two sentence answer to a casual question. You have to explain your past before you can explain your plans for the future. I’d give everything to have a second chance, but only us and our doctors know how unrealistic that is.
