Maddie and Scott’s wedding weekend required a plane ticket and a trip to the opposite coast. 100% worth it.

Three days on a private estate in Palm Springs - a white party, field day, and pool party before the weekend even hit its peak. The ceremony was lakeside, the open air reception built around a stone fountain with serpentine tables that stretched across the lawn. Refined and bright, until the disco balls dropped and the dance floor took over.

ROWYN Events designed a weekend that had a distinct energy at every turn. .sol.floralco kept the florals sharp and sun-drenched without ever tipping into excess.

Some trips you remember. This was one of them.

A recent weekend at Blue Hill at Stone Barns with Meredith and Christian.

The day moved through a lot of ground: the Opus, the church, back to Blue Hill for the reception. And yet it never once felt rushed. That’s partly wedding planner + designer, partly the staff at Blue Hill, and partly just who these two are. By the end of the night they had made their way to every single table - huge families, tons of personality - not because it was expected, but because that’s genuinely how they move through a room.

Meredith is the kind of person who, when asked to stand in the middle of a dense sunflower patch in her wedding dress, doesn’t hesitate for a second. Just jumps right in.

Stone Harbor in early summer, before the season fully arrives. Jacqueline and Zach with their feet in the water, salt in the air, and nowhere to be.

The shoot ended the way the best ones do - an outfit change, a stop at Wawa, sandwiches eaten on the stoop.

READYLUCK’s Jules Stevens on light: finding it, chasing it, and knowing exactly what to do when it finds you first.

For Jules, a perfect pocket of light during a portrait session feels like a real act of discovery - something entirely of the moment, impossible to recreate. It’s the same instinct that draws her to Irving Penn, Nan Goldin, and Wong Kar Wai. Artists who understood that light isn’t just technical. It’s how emotion gets made visible.

When a full gale and snowstorm shut down her outdoor first look, she spent five minutes scouting with fresh eyes and came back with some of her favorite portraits from that year.

Currently pushing into direct flash at high aperture - punchy, dynamic, fashion-forward. She’ll tell you she’s finally hitting her stride with it.

Anna and Ivan had just gotten engaged when they came to Italy. Not to chase anything iconic - just to slow down.

A villa in the hills outside Siena, a few quiet days, nowhere to be. They didn’t want a traditional shoot. They wanted to remember what this chapter actually felt like. Morning coffee on the patio. Breakfast made slowly. The kind of afternoon that dissolves into evening before you realize it’s gone. Anna is an artist, currently building a collection of silk scarves inspired by Italy, alongside her paintings. Ivan is an entrepreneur.

Listening to them talk about their work, their travels, the European wedding they’re planning for next year, it felt less like a session and more like spending the morning with people you’ve known for years. Siena has a way of doing that. Beautiful without trying to impress. Peaceful without being empty. The kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left.
