Another amazing hawk experience in Central Park. This red tailed hawk was enjoying a squirrel lunch only a few feet from a little used trail in the Ramble although people were walking by totally unaware that they were just a few feet from a feeding hawk. The hawk was well camouflaged and focused on its meal. This allowed for some great photographic opportunities.

One less titmouse in Central Park. It was amazing to witness as I was watching some ducks on the Pool, this red tailed hawk swooped in and picked off a titmouse that was in the grass right behind me. It perched nearby to enjoy its prize.
