I get asked all the time if I have “bridezillas”… and honestly, I hate that question... here's why...

Because what people label as a bridezilla is usually just a woman carrying an incredible amount of pressure, expectations, emotions, and logistics all at once. That word feels unfair for what’s actually happening behind the scenes.

What I’ve seen instead? Women who are deeply invested in one of the most meaningful days of their lives. Women who care. Women who are navigating a lot.

And here’s the truth—when you have an incredible planner and a solid, supportive vendor team… everything changes. The energy shifts. The stress softens. The experience becomes what it’s supposed to be.

I’ve been so lucky to work alongside some of the best teams and the most amazing clients. Truly. P.S. my girl Abby, in the photo, was THEEEEE MOST chill bride...like THE MOST (which is why I can talk about it on this post ha!)

When I say my clients stay in my life long after the wedding day, I mean it. The connections don’t just end—they evolve.

Those insta stories of me rowing at White Rock? Inspired by these two—Penn State rowers whose wedding speeches reminded me what discipline and passion really look like. So, I got in the boat and gave it a try! My clients inspire me constantly.

They support my art, trust my vision, and fuel my creativity in ways I don’t take lightly.

They are the reason I get excited for every single shoot.

In photography, the moment you think you’ve learned it all… you stop growing. 📸

Some of my biggest breakthroughs haven’t come from working alone, but from being around other creatives who challenge the way I see, shoot, and think. Continuous education—whether it’s workshops, conferences, or just long conversations with photographer friends—keeps the spark alive.

Every time I learn something new, I bring it back into my work: a new lighting approach, a different way to frame a moment, a creative risk I might not have taken before. That’s the beauty of this industry—there’s always another level, another idea, another perspective waiting to inspire you.

Growth doesn’t just make you better. It keeps you curious. And curiosity is where the magic happens. ✨
