My focus wasn’t on capturing polished images but on being present and allowing genuine emotions to shine through. Film doesn’t ask you to perform for it.

There’s no chimping the screen after every shot, no “let me see that one.” You just live in the moment, and somehow that’s when the real stuff shows up. The laugh you didn’t plan. The hand that’s shaking a little. Light doing something no filter can fake.

Digital gives you a photo of your wedding. Film gives you a photo of what it actually felt like.

That’s the whole reason I still shoot it.
