Posed or candid? 🤍 I always make time for both at each session. The classic family photo everyone is looking at the camera for, AND the little in-between moments that usually end up being some of my favorites. The best galleries have a mix of both, IMO.

Think you waited too long for newborn photos? You didn’t. 🤍 While I love photographing those sleepy first few weeks, there is something SO sweet about photographing an older newborn too. The eye contact, the expressions, the real smiles and all that connection. 🥹

There is no magic expiration date on newborn photos. If those first few weeks flew by and you never got around to booking, please don’t think you missed your chance!!

I consider babies up to 4 months old newborns and book them for my 90-minute newborn sessions. Even as they get a little older, babies still need that extra time for feeding, fussiness, diaper and outfit changes, and plenty of snuggles in between. 🤍

One of my most requested Hamptons photo locations isn’t even on Google Maps. 😂🤫

It’s a sweet little Southampton beach that has everything I look for in a session location: gorgeous dunes, a beautiful pathway down to the beach, and even a cute little fence in the parking lot. (And yes, you can find it on Apple Maps!)

These are a few favorite memories from past summers here. I photographed so many families at this little spot again this summer, but you’ll have to wait until next year to see those. 🤍

One of the very best parts of this job? Getting to watch your babies grow up. 🥹

I first photographed this sweet family in 2021, and somehow here we are five summers later. Swipe through for a little trip down memory lane, all the way to a video from our session this year!

This is why photographing the same families year after year will always be one of my favorite parts of what I do. The tiny faces change, the personalities get bigger, and suddenly you have years of your family’s story captured along the way. 🤍
