Kelly and Jake came to town for wedding planning and their engagement session. Just as I left home, the sky turned dark with another summer storm. My sweet husband who always watched the radar on my shoot days called and was like “babe aren’t you supposed to be shooting outside?” but they were leaving town so I was determined to make it work.

We started at her parents’ home on Davis Island, I made a game plan to shoot inside and on the patio, then her dad who was locked in on the radar said, “It’s about to clear up!” So we jumped iv my car, drove to the beach and the spot where they got engaged, got a light drizzle, and then the sky gave us a rainbow. 🌈
If we can create this kind of magic together in the rain in under 30 minutes, their wedding day is going to be unbelievable 🥰
