Little mallard finding food
I watched this mallard chick and its siblings when they were trying to find food. Most of them settled for insects within their reach, but this one aimed a little higher.
It was so fun to see this from beginning to end. You can see the moment it notices the damselfly and how it figures out how to reach it.
It didn’t succeed even though it tried several times, and the damselfly got to live another day.
