In Loving Memory of my wife Desiree
Dear family and friends,
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Desiree, who left us early this morning after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Desiree’s fight was not easy—her journey was filled with pain, challenges, and uncertainty—but she faced every day with strength, grace, and determination. From the moment of her diagnosis, her resolve to overcome the illness never wavered. Though the disease took its toll physically, it never diminished her spirit or her will to keep moving forward. Her fight deeply impacted all of us—her family, her friends, and everyone who witnessed her unwavering determination.
Desiree was a woman of many layers. Her presence left an imprint—whether through warm connection or hard truths, she made an impact that couldn't be ignored. She was fiercely authentic, and her love was equally fierce.
She was a magnificent, self-taught abstract artist whose work reflected the deep complexity of her inner world—bold, emotional, and endlessly creative. Her handcrafted jewelry, delicate yet expressive, was another testament to her artistic soul. Every piece she created told a story and carried a bit of her heart with it.
Desiree also poured her love into the lives of others through a long, successful career as a nanny. Over the years, she became not only a caregiver but a beloved and irreplaceable part of many families. Her care, wisdom, and nurturing nature left a lifelong imprint on the children she helped raise and the parents she supported with compassion and love.
To us, she was so much more than all of this. She was a wonderful wife, an incredible mother, and a loving grandmother. Her absence leaves a hole that words can’t fill, and her memory will be cherished always.
Desiree will be missed more than we can say. But we carry her with us in everything she touched—in the art she created, the lives she shaped, and the love she gave so generously.
Thank you for keeping her in your thoughts and honoring her life with us.
With love,
Andre Winfield Inniss
